New Benefit of Membership!! - Logistics (Freight) Management, Inc.
PERA is happy to announce a partnership with Logistics Management Inc. (LMI), whose volume buying power with some of the nation’s top quality national and regional carriers allows them to obtain the very best rates and pass the savings on to you. LMI has been helping companies to significantly reduce their freight expense and improve their administrative and operational efficiency for over 27 years.
This partnership will allow PERA Members receive a substantial discount on all inbound, outbound, or 3rd Party billed shipments where your company pays the freight charges. Large company or small, LMI can offer a solution to help you capture savings on LTL, Truckload and Expedited freight.
If your company spends $8,000 or more per month in LTL freight expense, LMI can conduct a no-cost baseline assessment to determine the exact cost savings that could be added to your bottom-line. This analysis involves dissecting a recent 30 day sample of all LTL invoices where your company paid the freight charges (inbound, outbound, drop shipments). Upon completion, LMI will present you with a proposal for our full service program.
If your company spends considerably less than $8,000 per month, you would quality for our Shippers Advantage program. This program is designed with the smaller shipper in mind and is available at no cost.
Simply complete the Participation Form and LMI will activate your pricing with the participating LMI carriers. Once your discounts go into effect, you will be forwarded a start up kit with instructions on how
to use the program as well as a “MY LMI” username and password which will allow you to get rate quotes for both LTL and truckload shipments.

Florida Retail Federation:
As we are all looking for ways to reduce our overhead, another new benefit of membership has been created through the Florida Retail Federation. The Florida Retail Federation was established in 1937 and includes more than 10,000 businesses.
